Supporting mission-aligned community development.
Building community.
The Community Capital Fund (CCF) supports local community development and social entrepreneurship through its Fiscal Sponsorship program. CCF’s Fiscal Sponsorship program, which utilizes a Model C (grantor-grantee structure), provides an alternative to starting a nonprofit for mission-aligned, community development projects in the Greater Kansas City region.
Social entrepreneurs selected for this program are able to seek grants and tax-deductible donations without having their own 501(c)(3) status, thus increasing the capacity and impact of their projects. To apply, download and complete the CCF Fiscal Sponsorship Guidelines and Application. It is required that you schedule time to meet with the CCF Program Manager to discuss your project prior to submitting your application.

Empire Dreams
Empire Dreams supports the development and sustainability of thriving and empowered communities in Kansas City. We implement a holistic and grassroots approach to targeted neighborhood development, designed to dismantle systemic racism, disrupt generational poverty and absolve the effects of childhood trauma. Our model confronts systems of oppression hindering families and communities from growth and success, rather than caring for symptoms with band-aid relief efforts. Our four-prong approach focuses on the restoration of the family unit through life coaching, asset-based community development, advocacy against systems of injustice, and the economic advancement of the community through entrepreneurship.
